My husband and I recently came into some money, and we are seriously thinking about realising our dream of opening our own restaurant. It something both of us have talked about for a long time but until recently it was a dream and nothing more.
Now it seems that we could potentially make it a reality but the trouble is, we don't know where to begin! Neither of us have any business experience in this field, but we have been asking around to see if anyone can help us. I would like a professional opinion however. Is getting a financial advisor the best way to go? I am only aware of a few of the larger ones, such as Rowan Dartington, but I don't want to go in there not really knowing the right questions to ask to get the information I need. I also don't know if they are the right company to deal with our small business idea.
Is seeking financial advice the best way to work out how to wisely invest into our business?
Has anyone done anything similar and could tell me how it worked out for them?
Does anyone have any experience with Rowan Dartington that could help me make this decision?
If anyone has any useful information or advice for us I would appreciate it a lot!
