I'm really hoping this isn't a big problem, but I think my camera's memory card - full of my Paris photos(!) - might have corrupted. Can anyone help?
It's a 2GB compact flash with loads of photos on it, but while taking a photo today my camera suddenly said "Card Error" and then turned off.
Now I can't get anything from my card either on my camera or my computer, if I plug the camera in or use a memory card reader.
I don't know what happened, it has been working fine for ages, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my camera, and I reformat the card fairly regularly through my camera - not my camera as I've been told that's not good.
Has anyone experienced this before? Do I need software to retrieve my files? I really hope they're not gone for good - all my Paris memories are on there!
